Sewalanka's Sustainable Technologies Division works nationally to introduce environmentally-friendly and affordable technologies that will assist in improving the quality of life for rural communities.

Methodology -

1.

Select best practices from neighbouring countries and implement pilot projects in the country after necessary modifications to suit our environment.

2.

Partner international research organizations to achieve the above.

3.

Partner other line agencies in providing required services to rural sector.

5. Post-Tsunami school reconstruction and renovations.

Achievements to date -

1.

Partner organisation of the community water supply project

2.

Sri Lankan focal point of the Renewable Energy Consortium (REC) with Nepal and Butan.

3.

Selected as a partner by RERED project for Solar PV.

4. Select as a partner by UNDP/SG for HELP project.
