Cross-Cutting Issues

Sevalanka focuses on three core program areas - organizational development, disaster management and livelihood support services - but we also recognize that there are a number of key "cross-cutting issues" that affect the lives and wellbeing of everyone in Sri Lanka and must be considered in our work.

We have sector specialists and trained district focal points in the following areas.

Sector specialists and district focal points are responsible for mainstreaming sound practices into our operations and program activities. They coordinate awareness and training programs related to these cross-cutting issues and help develop new initiatives based on requests from d istrict offices or CBOs.
